Head of Operations & Logistics — Accra Office

A proud native of Ghana's capital city, Joseph brings over 20 years' experience of welcoming guests from around the world to Ghana. Joseph oversees all of Jata Tours operations from implementing tour industry policy standards, maintaining our central Accra office and providing logistical support to all our tours.

Joseph is there to welcome all our guests in the city he calls home and when he isn't conducting quality control on the road with us, he sees off every tour and welcomes every tour back again!

His favourite local dish is Peanut Soup, and he is an avid supporter of Ghana's Black Stars football team.

Operations Manager

After gaining her degree in strategic tourism management, Bernice began her career working at the Embassy of Ghana in Morrocco in Tangier, before returning to her beloved homeland to exercise her skills in the Ghanaian tourism sector.

Prior to bringing her smile and her skills to Jata Tours, Bernice also gained further in-depth experience on the management teams of Camp TATSE and Ghana's Safari Eco Park.

A proud Ghanaian lady, Bernice is dedicated to ensuring we showcase our continent's friendliest country to all who wish to come and find the Africa they've dreamt about.

When not in the office Bernice loves spending time on the coast and cooking her favourite Jollof rice!

A winner of Ghana's Tour Guide of the Year award, Nii Laaye Bonney is a fully government licenced and certified tour guide. He brings with him an enthusiasm and energy that only comes with a genuine love of showing guests his beloved homeland.

Throughout his career he's had the privilege of guiding a diverse range of groups including diplomats, artists, students and travellers from various backgrounds.

Nii's journey in the tourism industry has allowed him to immerse himself fully in the culture of Ghana. He takes pride in curating unique experiences and loves nothing more than to hear about our guest's home countries, learning from them too.

More than just your typical guide, Nathan has a deep connection to West Africa. His contagious enthusiasm for Ghana is effortlessly combined with his desire to make the tours both comfortable and memorable.

Fully certified and licenced, Nathan is a popular and valued member of our guide team. He has a reservoir of experience guiding guests in the four corners of Ghana. Bringing with him an infectious passion for Ghana, its people and heritage, Nathan thrives on delivering richly informed stories of our beautiful land.

Guests always enjoy having Nathan guide them through their experience as he shares Ghana's beauty and its gripping history.

One of our team of dedicated drivers, Daniel lives for the open road! As with all our drivers, Daniel is qualified, fully licenced and well-practised, ensuring every mile of our guests' journey is safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

Daniel's favourite part of his job is slowing down on the highway to allow our guests time to take a closer look at a variety of interesting highlights from curious monkeys to daily village life…….or even stop to buy refreshing coconuts at the roadside.

When not behind the wheel Daniel loves playing chess, eating his favourite red-bean stew and relaxing with a glass of cool Hibiscus tea.
